Attorney S. Denise Watts is licensed to practice in South Carolina. All of our lawyers are licensed to practice in North Carolina, and we are all members of the 13th Judicial District Bar, the Brunswick County Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association. In addition, Ms. Watts is admitted to handle cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, and the South Carolina State Bar.

Sarah B. McPherson was born the youngest of three in Whiteville, North Carolina. Ms. McPherson attended Whiteville High School where she competed in tennis and soccer. She was a member of the marching band and the editor of High Times, the Whiteville High School publication. Ms. McPherson attended college at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, to pursue a degree in History with a concentration in Women’s Studies.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009, Ms. McPherson came back to Brunswick County, North Carolina to be closer to family and to begin her career as the legal assistant to the current Senior Resident Superior Court Judge for North Carolina District 13-B, the Honorable Judge Ola M. Lewis. After only a year in the Judge’s office, Ms. McPherson was offered a paralegal position with Attorney Pauline Hankins, in her private practice. Ms. McPherson worked as a paralegal for Attorney Pauline Hankins to assist in complex legal matters until Ms. Hankins was sworn in as a District Court Judge for the 13th Judicial District. In 2013, Ms. McPherson joined the team of Watts & Easley PLLC as the newest paralegal. Ms. McPherson is excited about the high energy and productive work environment.
